Hospital, Care Facility and Jail Notary
Important documents rarely wait for a convenient moment. I notarize at the bedside in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living and nursing homes, and at correctional facilities.
Please have the patient's full name, the facility name and the room number ready when you call. For a correctional facility, I need the inmate's full name and booking number, and the visit is scheduled under the facility's own rules.
Hospital and care facility visits start at $75. Jail and detention facility visits start at $150. The State notarial fee is added per act.

The signer must be awake, aware and able to understand and willingly sign the document; New Jersey law allows a notary to decline if that is not the case.
Please bring a government-issued photo ID that is current or expired no more than three years.
Fees
Hospital, Care Facility & Jail: Hospital from $75 · jail from $150.
New Jersey sets the notarial fee at $2.50 per notarial act ($15 flat for a real estate transfer; $25 flat for a real estate financing) under N.J.A.C. 17:50-1.18. My travel fee is a separate charge for coming to you and is quoted before the appointment.
All fees are agreed upon during the booking process. A 10% deposit is due at booking to reserve your appointment. It is applied to your total at the appointment.
